About Us

 

Our catering options spotlight old-fashioned country and contemporary meals prepared with the ultimate Southern spin. 

Our menu is only a snapshot of our culinary abilities, and our catering options are not limited to the menu items. We cater anything from a family outing to a corporate event and a wedding, and we serve finger foods, party platters, heavy hors d’oeuvres, buffet and sit-down dinners. We at Pickled Cucumber have been operating as a restaurant for 10 years and have catered many events. The Pickled Cucumber catering is owned and operated by Edwin Batson who personally catered events for over 20 years. We provide catering services to the Myrtle Beach and surrounding Grand Strand areas.

SET-UP/BREAKDOWN

 

We will provide water, teas, cornbread, and any condiments you might need. The set-up and break-down fee is $400+ tax (Eddie will set up the food in nice chafing dishes with sternos; he will keep the food hot and replenished, and the line clean; he will clean up the line once the dinner is over and take out the trash). He will make sure that the dinner goes smoothly and that you don’t worry about a thing.


This fee also covers:

Firm plastic plates (white with golden or silver trim) for the dinner
Plastic cups for teas
Napkins
Serving utensils
Plastic silverware matching your plates
Sternos
Ice


The charge per a server is $150+tax (if you have between 70-100 guests, you will need one server. More than 100 guests, 2-3 servers).

Just let us know if you want us to take care of your wedding dinner. You can change the guest count up to two weeks before your wedding. The deposit is 50% of the total and is due two weeks before the wedding, as well. We do prefer check or cash payment because if you use a credit card, we will have to charge you 5% credit card fee.

We ask to be the only caterer taking care of your special day. If you, your family or another caterer intends to provide any items served along with the menu we provide, please let us know during the booking of the event.
